About The Position

Newport Pacific is seeking a part-time Property Manager to work with residents of a mobile home park in Alvin, Texas. The role operates under the direction of a Regional Manager and supports the smooth, efficient operation of the community. The Property Manager helps maintain a clean, safe, and code-compliant environment; respects residents’ peaceful enjoyment of their homesites; and handles administrative, financial, leasing, inspection, maintenance, and resident-service matters. The role may also require responding to urgent situations outside normal business hours and performing other reasonable tasks assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

Property management experience and/or professional expertise.
Working knowledge of fair housing and landlord/tenancy laws.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Rent Manager software.
Bilingual Spanish skills.

Responsibilities

Ensure a clean, safe, and code-compliant community environment.
Uphold residents’ right to peaceful enjoyment of their homesite and the community.
Collect and deposit rent payments and perform related data entry and bookkeeping.
Control expenditures within the approved budget.
Process tenancy applications and facilitate move-in and move-out processes.
Prepare tenancy contracts and related documents and present them for signing.
Perform routine inspections and take corrective action to address deficiencies.
Respond to resident complaints with urgency and empathy.
Recognize and address maintenance needs.
Solicit bids from third-party contractors and oversee their projects.
Respond effectively to urgent situations and emergencies, including those that occur outside normal business hours.
Read meters.
Perform other reasonable tasks assigned by a supervisor to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the community.
