About The Position

The Property Manager oversees the daily operations of a manufactured housing community, focusing on community management, resident retention and relations, and customer service. The role includes selling and renting homes and leasing lots to people who purchase homes outside the company. Requirements

Must have 2–5 years of experience in property management.
Be team-oriented with a strong work ethic and outstanding interpersonal skills.
Have problem-solving and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Have motivation and skills in sales, meeting sales goals, negotiation, selling to customer needs, territory management, closing, prospecting, professionalism, internal communications, listening, and communication processes.
Have reliable transportation.
Be able to pass a drug test.
Have a positive attitude and a desire to learn and excel in both team and independent work environments.
Be committed to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Attract tenants by advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals from current tenants, explaining the advantages of the location and services, and showing units.
Manage financial objectives by collecting rent, paying bills, forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action.
Maintain the property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing occupancy rules, inspecting vacant units, completing repairs, planning renovations, and contracting landscaping and snow-removal services.
Secure the property by maintaining security devices, establishing and enforcing precautionary policies and procedures, and responding to emergencies.
Accept ownership of organizational goals, handle new requests, and explore opportunities to add value.
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
Negotiate leases with tenants and collect security deposits.
Sell and rent homes and lease lots to homebuyers.
