About The Position

Carteret Management Corporation is hiring a Property Manager to oversee operations at an affordable housing community in Fort Myers, Florida. The position is full-time and salaried. The community is a Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) site, and the manager is responsible for maintaining compliance with applicable program standards. The role includes resident relations, community operations, staff leadership, and administrative responsibilities.

Requirements

• Customer-service orientation.
• Prior experience.
• Analytical ability to evaluate challenges and recommend an appropriate course of action.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and RealPage OneSite.
• Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with on-site staff, vendors, the corporate team, and residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, customer service-oriented management approach focused on resident and community needs.
• Oversee community operations, including marketing and leasing, maintenance supervision, purchasing, budget management, resident concerns, and vendor interactions.
• Ensure strict compliance with all applicable Low Income Housing Tax Credit program standards.
• Hire, train, and motivate the on-site team; assist with employee evaluations; and direct staff activities to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Maximize use of RealPage OneSite software to improve operating efficiency.
• Manage reporting to RPM and the corporate team, biweekly payroll, and weekly accounts payable packages.
