About The Position

Village Green is hiring a Maintenance Manager for The Junction in Menomonee Falls. The role supervises the maintenance team and oversees service requests, work orders, preventive maintenance, energy management recommendations, capital improvements, and maintenance budgeting. The manager also mentors and trains staff and participates in interviewing and selecting new team members. The position requires experience in hotel, apartment, or hospital maintenance/engineering, including two years of team-supervision experience. Employment offers are contingent on successful completion of required background checks; pre-employment drug testing is required.

Requirements

Experience in hotel, apartment, or hospital maintenance/engineering.
At least two years of supervisory experience leading a team.
Excellent customer service and computer skills.
Ability to build, mentor, and train a team.
Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, appliances, water heaters, chillers/boilers, and HVAC, or EPA Universal Certification.
Proven track record managing a preventive maintenance program.
Experience with capital projects.

Responsibilities

Supervise maintenance staff daily, including delegating work orders and special projects and supporting effective time management.
Inspect and oversee existing and completed work orders.
Handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and other service requests.
Mentor and train new and existing maintenance staff members.
Participate in interviewing and selecting new maintenance team members.
Provide written monthly energy-management recommendations for the building.
Identify capital improvements and obtain required estimates or bids.
Assist with preparing the maintenance expense budget.
