About The Position

Village Green is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for The Junction in Menomonee Falls. The role supervises the maintenance team and oversees service requests, work orders, building energy recommendations, capital improvements, and maintenance budgeting. The position includes mentoring and training staff, helping select new team members, and maintaining building systems and preventative maintenance programs. Requirements

Experience in hotel, apartment, or hospital maintenance or engineering.
At least 2 years of supervisory experience leading a team.
Excellent customer service and computer skills.
Ability to build a team, mentor, and train team members.
Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, appliances, water heaters, chillers or boilers, and HVAC, or EPA Universal Certification.
Proven track record managing a preventative maintenance program.
Experience with capital projects.

Responsibilities

Supervise maintenance staff daily, including delegating work orders and special projects and supporting time management.
Inspect and oversee existing and completed work orders.
Address HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and other service requests.
Mentor and train new and existing maintenance staff.
Participate in interviewing and selecting new maintenance team members.
Provide written monthly energy-management recommendations for the building.
Identify capital improvements and obtain required estimates or bids.
Assist with preparing the maintenance expense budget.
