About The Position

ClaimsPro LP is seeking an experienced Property Adjuster to join their team. The successful candidate will work on the industry-leading Claim Space software and will be supported by experienced local claims support, centralized after hours support, and dictation services. The claims load is driven by senior executives and business development staff. The workload is balanced, and compensation is for billable hours. ClaimsPro is the largest supplier of claims management services in Canada with over 90 branches. Requirements

Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Onedrive)
Advanced communication skills including: Effective written skills including grammar and those of a technical nature
Effective oral skills, including listening, interviewing, negotiating, must be able to flex style appropriate to audience
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities in an effective manner.
Relationship Building skills
Demonstrated and proven leadership skills
Sense of urgency and responsiveness
Proactive and positive approach to customer service ensuring that all inquiries are effectively dealt with in a timely manner.
Strong interpersonal skills allowing you to effectively deal with conflict and difficult situations.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
CIP designation or working towards designation.
Adjuster’s license or have completed a minimum of the below 4 CIP courses: C11: Principles and Practice of Insurance, C12: Insurance on Property, C13: Insurance Against Liability—Part 1, C14: Automobile Insurance—Part 1
Effective analytical skills, including identification of cause and effect dynamics
Good investigative manner
Able to draw valid conclusions and effectively communicate them.
Ability to interpret complex documents of a legal nature, perform and understand advanced numerical calculations including analysis of comparative information.

Nice To Haves

Some experience in Auto or Liability claims will be considered an asset
University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance is nice to have.
C110: Essentials of Loss Adjusting (Nice to have)

Responsibilities
