About The Position

Hotel Management & Consulting, Inc. is seeking a hands-on, committed team player who is flexible in completing a variety of hotel responsibilities. The role includes general preventative maintenance, cleaning public areas, preparing rooms for housekeeping, and assisting with laundry duties. The attendant manages work orders and maintenance supplies, follows property emergency procedures, and helps meet the security needs of the property and its guests. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Be a committed team player and flexible in completing multiple hotel responsibilities.
Ability to repeatedly climb stairs and occasionally climb ladders.
Ability to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Manage work orders in a timely manner and follow the preventative maintenance schedule.
Perform maintenance tasks such as carpet shampooing, hard-floor cleaning, light electrical and plumbing work, drywall repair, painting, and caulking.
Perform public-space janitorial work, parking-lot upkeep, trash cleanup, and PTAC cleaning.
Maintain and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, and submit orders to management.
Prepare rooms for housekeepers by removing linens and trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs.
Know and follow property emergency procedures and help ensure the security needs of the property and guests are met.
Assist with laundry duties and other hotel responsibilities as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
