Onsite Property Attendant
About The Position
Hotel Management & Consulting, Inc. is seeking a hands-on, committed team player who can flexibly handle a variety of hotel responsibilities, including general preventative maintenance, cleaning public areas, preparing rooms for housekeeping, and assisting with laundry. The position lives onsite and regularly takes overnight calls to oversee the property after hours and address guest needs. Requirements
- Ability to flexibly complete multiple hotel responsibilities as a hands-on team player.
- Ability to live onsite and regularly take overnight calls.
- Ability to climb stairs repeatedly and occasionally climb ladders.
- Ability to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Manage work orders in a timely manner and follow the preventative maintenance schedule.
- Perform maintenance and upkeep tasks, which may include carpet shampooing, cleaning hard-surface floors, light electrical and plumbing work, public-space janitorial work, parking lot upkeep, trash cleanup, PTAC cleaning, drywall repair, painting, and caulking.
- Maintain and manage maintenance supplies and tools inventory and submit orders to management.
- Prepare rooms for housekeepers by removing linens and trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs.
- Know and follow property emergency procedures and ensure the security needs of the property and guests are met.
- Assist with guest check-in and check-out after hours, provide customer service, and address guest needs or concerns.
- Regularly be on call overnight for after-hours guest needs and oversee the property after hours.
- Assist with laundry duties and clean public areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
