Onsite Property Attendant
About The Position
Hotel Management & Consulting, Inc. is seeking a hands-on, committed team player who can flexibly complete a variety of hotel responsibilities, including preventative maintenance, cleaning public areas, preparing rooms for housekeeping, and assisting with laundry. The position lives onsite and regularly takes overnight calls to oversee the property after hours and respond to guest needs. The role works as part of a small, efficient hospitality team in a performance-based culture that balances hard work with respect for personal life. Requirements
- Committed team player who is flexible in completing multiple hotel responsibilities.
- Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Manage work orders in a timely manner and follow a preventative maintenance schedule.
- Perform maintenance and janitorial tasks, which may include carpet shampooing, hard-floor cleaning, light electrical and plumbing work, parking lot upkeep, trash cleanup, PTAC cleaning, drywall repair, painting, and caulking.
- Maintain and manage maintenance supplies and tool inventory and provide supply orders to management.
- Prepare rooms for housekeepers by removing linens and trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs.
- Know and follow property emergency procedures and ensure the security needs of the property and guests are met.
- Assist with guest check-in and check-out after hours, provide customer service, and address guest needs or concerns.
- Regularly remain on call overnight for after-hours guest needs and oversee the property after hours.
- Assist with laundry duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
