This is an operational role where the individual will be responsible for driving a designated route to load and/or unload fuel in a safe and timely manner.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience operating tractor-trailer equipment, preferably in one or more of the following areas: propane, natural gas, pipefitting, plumbing, crane and/or boom truck.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
Must possess a class A or class B CDL with the following endorsements: (a) X -Tank/Hazardous Materials, (b) Doubles or Triples, and meet the current driver qualifications as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
A current medical certificate is also required.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

Operates a one-ton or larger service vehicle with a crane to move propane tanks.
Handles, inspects, certifies and fills small propane tanks.
Drives a designated route to load and/or unload fuel in a safe and timely manner.
Delivers propane to customers and sets up new propane systems as needed.
Performs various customer service activities as needed including scheduling work with customers, performing propane pressure tests for customers and communicating with customers and finding solutions for system deficiencies.
Tracks and reorders inventory.
Completes paperwork and updates information into computer tracking systems.
Understands and implements company, state, and federal regulations.
