About The Position

DirectViz Solutions (DVS) is seeking a Project Manager to provide site-level project and program management for White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) IT, cybersecurity, logistics, network, specialized mission, and customer-support operations. The role coordinates the local workforce and project execution with the enterprise project manager. The Project Manager oversees planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted program or project, typically consisting of closely related subprograms or associated activities. The position also oversees fiscal, operational, administrative, and human-resources management; seeks and develops outside funding sources; represents and liaises with external constituencies on operational matters; and provides day-to-day technical and professional guidance and leadership as appropriate. The role is identified as on-site in White Sands, New Mexico, and requires active Secret clearance or higher. The posting also specifies an ability to work on-site at APG during normal duty hours and to provide or coordinate 24-hour management responsiveness.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in project management, enterprise IT, or mission support; alternatively, 7 years of relevant experience with an associate degree.
Demonstrated experience managing enterprise IT programs of comparable scope and complexity for Army or other Department of Defense customers.
Ability to work on-site at APG during normal duty hours.
Active Secret clearance or higher.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage competing operational priorities.
Ability to maintain focus and awareness throughout scheduled working hours.
Ability to perform tasks involving prolonged sitting or standing at a desk and use of a computer, mouse, and keyboard.
Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong command of English.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
Ability to quickly learn and retain routine tasks and processes.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, business correspondence proficiency, and self-management capabilities.

Nice To Haves

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
ITIL v4 Foundation certification.
Experience serving as the primary customer interface and managing contract performance, staffing, reporting, and deliverables.
Familiarity with the technical and operational services included in the program scope.
