About The Position

The Project Manager for Commercial Restoration leads large-scale commercial property reconstruction and repair projects following fire, water, wind, or storm damage. The role is responsible for restoring properties to pre-loss condition while upholding the company’s standards for customer care and quality. It balances structural construction management with insurance claim logistics. The position is on-site in Walled Lake, Michigan; local candidates are preferred, and relocation assistance is available for exceptional candidates.

Requirements

At least 5 years of dedicated commercial project management experience.
Proven experience estimating and managing large commercial projects.
Strong working knowledge of the insurance restoration process.
Professional mastery of Xactimate, Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling software, and standard construction management platforms.
Ability to work according to high-integrity team values in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage large-scale commercial restoration and repair projects from start to finish.
Formulate, monitor, and manage project budgets to ensure profitability.
Communicate with commercial clients, property managers, and stakeholders and deliver strong outcomes during recovery periods.
Develop project timelines and coordinate trade partners, subcontractors, and internal field crews.
Collaborate with estimating teams and insurance adjusters to ensure repairs accurately reflect the approved scope of work.
