About The Position

Zielies Tree Service Inc., a leader in Vegetation Management Services, is currently seeking a Project Manager. Travel will be required to neighboring states. The Project Manager will lead execution of utility vegetation management contracts by managing financial performance, schedules, client relationships, production forecasting, compliance, and leadership of General Foremen.

Requirements

• Three or more years of progressively responsible utility vegetation management, forestry, construction, or related operational experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules, resources, and client expectations.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned service territory and respond to operational needs outside normal working hours when required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project, financial, GIS, and operational reporting systems.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in forestry, arboriculture, natural resources, business, construction management, or a related field.
• ISA Certified Arborist & ISA Utility Specialist credential.
• State pesticide applicator license.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar utility vegetation management contracts.
• Demonstrated financial-management, forecasting, and continuous-improvement experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education, certifications, and relevant experience may be considered where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, forecasting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Lead General Foremen and operational planning.
• Serve as primary operational client contact.
• Manage contract compliance, risk, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate utility operations and incident response.
