The Project Manager maintains enterprise or market accreditation readiness and coordinates the NCQA Steering Committee and its relationship to QMC, QMOC, and other oversight bodies. The role manages committee calendars, charters, membership, agendas, minutes, action plans, approval records, and reporting pathways, and monitors committee cadence and coverage of required subject matter. The position manages the standards-to-owner crosswalk, sets evidence requirements and due dates for responsible business areas, and maintains a controlled evidence repository and version history. It coordinates policy, program description, workplan, annual evaluation, and committee approval cycles; tracks gaps identified through readiness reviews, mock surveys, file audits, and internal assessments; and escalates overdue evidence, open corrective actions, weak documentation, or unresolved accountability. The Project Manager coordinates with Quality, Population Health, Utilization Management, Credentialing, Compliance, Delegation Oversight, Member Experience, Health Equity, Medical Affairs, and other standards owners. The role prepares accreditation dashboards and executive readiness updates, supports survey preparation, submissions, interviews, follow-up requests, and corrective action activity, and maintains readiness throughout the year after the formal accreditation review.
