About The Position

The Project Manager leads complex initiatives from definition through transition, converting approved business objectives into actionable delivery plans and guiding cross-functional teams toward agreed scope, schedule, cost, quality, readiness, and outcome commitments. The role partners with sponsors, business owners, Program Managers, analysts, technology partners, operational leaders, vendors, and subject-matter experts. It owns initiative-level planning and execution, maintains the integrated project plan and reliable evidence of delivery health, facilitates governance and working forums, and proactively manages risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, and changes. The Project Manager is expected to surface difficult information early, recommend actions, and sustain delivery momentum through active leadership rather than administrative coordination. The role includes defining and initiating projects; coordinating integrated delivery; managing RAID items, dependencies, decisions, scope, schedule, finances, and change control; providing accurate reporting and governance evidence; leading stakeholder and sponsor engagement; and integrating change readiness, adoption, benefits, implementation, stabilization, transition to operations, and closure. The Project Manager also leads matrixed teams, promotes accountability and collaboration, captures lessons learned, and contributes improvements to PMO delivery standards. This is a remote position. The incumbent must be a U.S. citizen and pass a background check due to Department of Defense contract requirements. The role requires compliance with applicable company policies, the Code of Business Conduct, HIPAA, and information-security requirements. The stated base pay range is $68,400 to $105,900, with pay determined by factors including qualifications, experience, expected contributions, internal equity, market, and business considerations.

  • Develop and maintain a stakeholder and communications approach; build productive relationships with sponsors, business owners, team members, partners, and vendors.
  • Clarify stakeholder responsibilities, decision expectations, readiness obligations, and acceptance criteria; communicate appropriately to executives, governance groups, and delivery teams.
  • Listen actively, confirm shared understanding, communicate difficult information constructively, and close the loop after decisions or changes.
  • Influence outcomes and resolve conflict professionally without relying on positional authority.
  • Identify relevant stakeholder, process, technology, policy, operational, clinical, contractual, and support impacts.
  • Integrate readiness, communications, training, adoption, acceptance, stabilization, and transition activities into project plans.
  • Confirm accountable owners for operational readiness, sustained adoption, and post-delivery outcome measurement; track readiness separately from task completion.
  • Escalate unresolved ownership, adoption risks, or acceptance gaps before implementation; connect deliverables and acceptance criteria to intended outcomes and preserve evidence affecting the benefit case.
  • Make the transition from project delivery to business outcome ownership explicit at closure.
  • Set clear team expectations and reinforce ownership of commitments, deliverables, decisions, and follow-up actions.
  • Promote collaboration, inclusion, transparency, and professional conduct across matrixed teams; adapt leadership and delivery practices to project complexity and changing conditions.
