About The Position

Kyndryl is hiring a Project Manager to lead mission-critical technology projects and programs, shape outcomes, influence stakeholders, and support customer relationships. The role involves planning and executing projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, monitoring delivery against milestones and service-level agreements, managing budgets and performance metrics, resolving issues, and communicating project information to customers and internal stakeholders. The position is required to be onsite in Richmond, Virginia, five days per week.

Requirements

• SCRUM or project management skills.
• Basic IT knowledge, including architectural knowledge.
• Organization and planning skills.
• Teamwork and a “one team” philosophy.

Nice To Haves

• PMP (Project Management Professional) and/or PMI (Project Management Institute) certification.
• Experience with MS Project or other project management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Build detailed project plans that define scope, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Prioritize work and proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Allocate resources effectively, including AI, cloud, and industry expertise.
• Coordinate cross-functional technical, account, and partner teams and maintain alignment and smooth handoffs.
• Coach and support team members, and facilitate governance and cadence meetings.
• Track progress against milestones and adapt plans as priorities change.
• Ensure SLA adherence and meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Manage budgets and performance metrics to optimize delivery quality and efficiency.
• Resolve issues to keep projects on track and maintain customer confidence.
• Serve as the primary delivery contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Translate complex project information into clear, actionable updates and provide guidance for decision-making.
• Build customer relationships through proactive engagement, responsiveness, and a collaborative one-team approach.
• Embed with customer teams when needed and represent Kyndryl with credibility and integrity.
