About The Position

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager specializing in doors, frames, and hardware for the commercial construction industry. Based at the company's Tempe office, the Project Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to meet objectives by specified dates and within budget. Projects may include data centers, schools, and hospitals. Commercial entry door experience is a plus.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience managing projects and budgets; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• High attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Proficiency with Windows-based programs and ERP/CRM systems, and a good understanding and use of Excel.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with construction software such as Procore is highly preferred.
• Commercial entry door experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to determine materials, schedules, budget parameters, staffing requirements, and resource allocation for each project phase.
• Discuss and establish work plan outlines with staff; assign duties and scope of authority; and provide technical advice and troubleshooting.
• Direct and coordinate activities to keep projects on schedule and within budgeted scope.
• Review staff-prepared status reports and make changes as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
