About The Position

SV Design is seeking a personable, motivated, and organized Architectural Project Manager to join our Beverly-based commercial team. This role will lead mid- to large-scale commercial, institutional, and multi-family projects from concept through construction. The Project Manager serves as the primary client contact and is responsible for project quality, coordination, team leadership, scheduling, and overall project delivery.

Requirements

  • Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program
  • 8–12 years of experience with commercial, institutional, or multi-family projects
  • Strong technical detailing and construction documentation skills
  • Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office
  • Thorough understanding of building systems, construction methods, and drafting standards
  • Experience coordinating consultants and reviewing field conditions
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, organizational, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from concept through construction completion
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to develop thoughtful, high-quality design solutions
  • Oversee existing conditions documentation, site measurements, and early design coordination
  • Guide and mentor junior staff through redlines, sketching, and project oversight
  • Oversee production of construction documents in Revit, including plans, elevations, sections, and detailing
  • Coordinate with engineering and specialty consultants to ensure integrated documentation
  • Manage project documentation, code reviews, specifications, schedules, and permitting submissions
  • Ensure projects meet SV Design's standards for creativity, professionalism, and technical excellence
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, sketches, and site visits during construction
  • Represent clients during construction meetings and review pay applications and project progress
  • Maintain accurate and organized construction records throughout the project lifecycle
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Lead meetings, presentations, and project communication
  • Manage schedules, staffing, budgets, and project resources
  • Support bidding, contractor selection, and regulatory approval processes
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on project planning and monthly billing
