About The Position

The Project Manager solicits project documents and information and ensures they are provided to hub estimators, support team members, and outside vendors through a functional request for proposal (RFP) procedure. The PM follows up on outstanding RFPs to help meet project bid dates. During estimating, the PM solicits additional information from the client on behalf of the estimator or ensures the estimator gathers the information. The PM may meet with customers before and during project execution.

Requirements

• Ability to perform material and labor estimates.
• Proficiency in managing project budgets.
• Experience managing direct reports.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Hit sales and profit goals.
• Support stores in the service territory.
• Manage direct reports.
• Manage risk during performance of hub functions.
• Solicit project documents and information and distribute them to hub estimators, support team members, and outside vendors through the RFP procedure.
• Follow up on outstanding RFPs to help meet project bid dates.
• Obtain additional client information during the estimating process, or ensure the estimator gathers it.
• Meet with customers before and during project execution when needed.
