About The Position

Connect Centric is hiring a Project Manager on a contract basis to serve as the owner's representative during vendor-led technology implementations. The Project Manager will take ownership of initiatives from start to finish, coordinating client business teams, IT staff, vendors, and other third parties to deliver agreed outcomes. The position is contingent upon contract award, anticipated in early 2027, with work beginning shortly after.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience managing technology implementation projects.
• Experience as an owner-side project manager or owner's representative on at least two vendor-led software implementations.
• Experience managing projects involving multiple business departments and outside vendors concurrently.
• Experience leading user acceptance testing, go-live, and post-launch stabilization.
• Experience recovering at least one at-risk or failing technology project.
• Experience with associations, nonprofits, or membership organizations.

Nice To Haves

• PMP or PMI-ACP certification.
• Experience overseeing AMS, LMS, or credentialing system implementations.
• Change management experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the owner's representative during vendor-led implementations.
• Build and manage project plans, timelines, status reports, issue tracking, and risk and decision logs.
• Hold vendors and client staff accountable to agreed scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
• Coordinate client business teams, IT staff, vendors, and other third parties.
• Identify risks early and lead escalation and decision-making with client leadership.
• Define acceptance criteria, testing plans, training needs, go-live readiness, and post-launch stabilization.
