About The Position

Aiviq is a fintech company that helps asset managers process, analyze, and use data. The Project Manager will work in the Professional Services department, leading implementation projects for new and existing clients. The role collaborates with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Services, and client teams to deliver global implementations on time and within budget.

The Project Manager oversees projects from initiation through close, including solution design, development, testing, and transition to business-as-usual operations. They serve as the primary client contact during implementations, manage project plans, risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, scope, change requests, and stakeholder expectations, and provide regular status updates. The role may also include business analysis or data analysis when a Technical Business Analyst is not covering that work.

The successful candidate may support implementation planning and estimation, improve and standardize implementation processes, or manage internal projects and RFP processes. The position is fully remote for candidates based in the U.S., with broader flexible working options available.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of project management experience in FinTech or consultancy-related roles.
• Ability to grasp new business data domains quickly.
• Excellent communication skills with project stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Experience handling challenging conversations with clients.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex business or technical issues to key stakeholders.
• Excellent client interaction skills.
• Track record of bringing innovation to implementation projects.
• Ability to bridge technical and business requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Broad knowledge of the asset management industry and its key business functions.
• Formal project management training, such as PMP or Prince2 Agile.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-phase implementation projects, including solution design, development, testing, and transition to business-as-usual operations.
• Coordinate internal Product and Professional Services business analysts with client business, technology, and change teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client resources throughout an implementation, with an understanding of product features, data concepts, and client challenges.
• Manage projects from initiation to close, including planning, risk and issue management, dependencies, testing, budget tracking, and change management.
• Manage commercial discussions when scope changes are needed and escalate commercial matters to the Head of Professional Services as required.
• Undertake business analysis or data analysis when that work is not covered by the project Technical Business Analyst.
• Prepare internal and client-facing status reports and provide regular project updates.
• Produce high-quality project deliverables and PowerPoint presentation decks.
• Work within Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project approaches according to internal and client requirements.
• Chair project stand-up and steering committee meetings, prepare materials, and collect and share agreed actions.
• Manage project scope and the Change Request process.
• Manage client stakeholders' expectations regarding project delivery, client deliverables, and client-side change.
• Support the Head of Professional Services with implementation planning or estimation.
• Work with the Head of Professional Services to streamline, simplify, and standardize implementation processes.
• Manage internal projects or RFP processes as needed.
