About The Position

As a Project Manager in Atwell’s Civil Engineering group, you will lead diverse site civil and land development projects of varying sizes and complexities from initiation through completion. The role includes project design and analysis using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Vision, client relationship management, business development, project financial oversight, and mentoring junior staff. You will work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and help ensure project deliverables meet client expectations and quality standards.

Requirements

• Professional Engineer license in Maryland.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Vision.
• Proven experience managing commercial and residential land development projects.
• Strong client management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability in business development.
• Leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage site civil projects from initiation to completion.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and Vision for project design and analysis.
• Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring project delivery meets client expectations.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to contribute to firm growth.
• Oversee project financials, including billing and invoicing processes.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet high standards.
