About The Position
Mirantis is seeking a client-facing Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, multidisciplinary initiatives across cloud, platform, and AI domains. This is a delivery leadership and trusted-advisor role rather than traditional project coordination. The Project Manager works directly with clients and partners with engineers, architects, and client stakeholders to shape and execute programs, translate business goals into executable plans, and support long-term customer success, including in fast-evolving and ambiguous environments. The role leads end-to-end delivery across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and AI/data initiatives; manages stakeholder alignment, technical dependencies, risks, scope, changes, and project financials; and communicates with stakeholders at all levels. The Project Manager also contributes to account growth by identifying follow-on opportunities and helping shape new engagements, while improving delivery practices in ways that provide structure without limiting innovation. Success means being viewed by clients as a trusted partner, delivering high-quality projects with strong client satisfaction and clear business outcomes, bridging business goals and technical execution, helping expand engagements through credible delivery, and bringing structure to innovative work, especially in AI.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience managing client-facing technical projects in a professional services or consulting environment.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs with distributed teams.
- Strong client presence and ability to influence stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor.
- Technical fluency sufficient to understand how systems are built and communicate with engineering teams; hands-on experience is not required.
- Experience working in cloud-native environments such as Kubernetes, containers, or distributed systems.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
- Pragmatic, outcome-driven mindset focused on delivering value.
- Comfort working in fast-paced environments where requirements and solutions are defined and refined iteratively.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenStack, and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
- PMP or equivalent certification.
- Experience with proposal development or pre-sales support.
- Familiarity with modern delivery tools and agile methodologies.
- Experience delivering or supporting AI/ML, data platform, or automation projects.
- Familiarity with LLMs, data pipelines, model lifecycle, or experimentation workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of client-facing projects across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and AI/data initiatives.
- Act as the primary client contact, building trust and guiding clients through complex technical programs.
- Translate business objectives into delivery plans and align stakeholders across client and internal teams.
- Work with engineering teams to understand technical tradeoffs, dependencies, and risks and drive execution.
- Manage delivery in iterative environments where scope and outcomes may evolve over time.
- Identify risks, issues, and dependencies proactively and drive practical resolutions.
- Manage project finances and commercial matters, including scope control, change management, and margin awareness.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
- Identify follow-on opportunities and help shape new engagements to contribute to account growth.
- Continuously improve delivery practices, adding structure while maintaining flexibility for innovation.
