About The Position

The Project Manager partners with the assigned Account Executive to manage all aspects of existing business. This includes directing customer service and the Sales Assistant, and engaging the Sales Manager, Corrugated Specialist, and Equipment Specialist as needed. The role manages Key Account projects and assists sales in developing a consistent procedure for business reviews.

The position leads project planning and implementation, coordinates business reviews, identifies margin improvement opportunities, and tracks project progress and deliverables. It also assembles and supports project resources, communicates with stakeholders, and travels to key account locations as needed, approximately 10% of the time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience in B2B customer service representative, sales assistant, account management, sales professional, or buyer work.
• Strong organizational skills and project management experience.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, with emphasis on Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of Key Account projects.
• Lead and coordinate business reviews; work closely with the Sales Manager and Account Manager and collaborate with Branch Administration to develop pertinent, effective presentations.
• Review commission reports to ensure all vendor deviations are in place.
• Identify margin improvement projects by customer and/or product category.
• Hold weekly team meetings to identify, communicate, and assign priorities for the week.
• Define project tasks and resource requirements.
• Assemble, direct, and motivate internal and external resources to achieve peak performance.
• Plan and schedule project timelines.
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
• Provide direction and support to the project team.
• Monitor and report on progress to all stakeholders.
• Travel to various key account locations as needed, approximately 10% of the time.
