About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, high-energy Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take ownership of multiple loss and complex restoration projects simultaneously. This is a player-coach position, you will lead projects end-to-end, supervise crews and subcontractors in the field, drive profitability, and actively support business development efforts that fuel our continued growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience specifically in restoration, remediation, or insurance-related construction (no other industries).
  • Advanced Xactimate Level 2 or 3 proficiency (must pass internal Xactimate test during interview process).
  • Proven track record managing multiple large-loss projects ($100k+) simultaneously.
  • Deep working knowledge of IICRC S500 (water) and S700 (fire/smoke) standards.
  • Experience supervising crews and subcontractors in the field.
  • Strong leadership presence, comfortable holding people accountable and stopping unsafe or substandard work.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle project management of fire, flood, and disaster restoration jobs from initial scope through final billing and certificate of completion.
  • Be present on active job sites as required.
  • Simultaneously manage 8–15 active projects while hitting schedule, budget, and quality targets.
  • Directly supervise subcontractors and Spartan field crews, enforce accurate timekeeping, crew sizing, quality standards, PPE, and company branding (uniforms, truck lettering, signage).
  • Coach, mentor, and hold teams accountable; stop work immediately if safety or quality falls below standard.
  • Perform or validate all scoping, estimating (Xactimate), moisture mapping, drying calculations (using IICRC S500 standards), equipment deployment, and daily documentation.
  • Completion of scoping sheets for the estimating team to generate estimates and billing packages.
  • Ensure HEPA vacuuming, moisture readings, soot sampling, equipment logs, and progress photos are completed and uploaded daily.
  • Complete Docusketch or similar 3D scans on all fire losses and large water losses.
  • Secure all required signed documents (Work Authorization, Certificate of Completion, etc).
  • Produce accurate Xactimate estimates and final bills ahead of internal KPIs.
  • Upload all job files, photos, and documentation into company systems (Dash + Hubspot) in real time.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners, property managers, and adjusters, set expectations, provide daily updates, and deliver white-glove service.
  • Write professional, detailed email updates to adjusters and carriers.
  • Proactively identify and sell additional services (contents pack-out/move-back, dry cleaning, asbestos/lead abatement, reconstruction, etc.).
  • Build and nurture relationships with adjusters, property managers, and referral sources to drive repeat and referral business.
