About The Position

CSI is looking for a qualified candidate desiring a successful career in project management to join our team. The Project Manager - Service is responsible for managing Service projects from start to finish, including project scope development, design, estimating, bidding, scheduling, execution, and project closeout. This role supports Service Technicians performing work at customer facilities while managing multiple projects simultaneously across manufacturing plants throughout the United States, as well as in-house operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management, communication, technical, and customer service skills with experience in industrial manufacturing and sanitary process environments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2–3 years of related service and repair experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2–3 years of experience in: Project management
  • 2–3 years of experience in: Sanitary process industry
  • 2–3 years of experience in: Industrial food system processing environments
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Computer proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, database, and CRM software
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical support capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as required
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management or related field preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage Service projects from initial scope, design, estimating, and bidding through execution, scheduling, cost control, and project completion
  • Coordinate and support Service Technicians, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution at customer facilities and in-house operations
  • Provide quotes, proposals, project updates, technical assistance, and follow-up support to customers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Track project schedules, budgets, job performance, and forecasting while preparing reports and maintaining accurate project documentation
  • Develop project scopes, Bills of Materials, and technical requirements while providing troubleshooting and technical support as needed
  • Maintain customer, prospect, and project information within CRM systems and ensure proper documentation for billing and job costing
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards, policies, and applicable regulations while contributing to a productive and customer-focused work environment
