About The Position

Tria Federal is seeking a Project Manager II to enhance administrative and operational support services for their federal customer at the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) in Falls Church, Virginia. This position will join a team of administrative professionals supporting healthcare operations, program management, analysis, research, education programs, correspondence/task management, and military healthcare related policies and programs. The successful candidate will support BUMED Clinical Operations, Policy and Standards and the Office of the Chief Medical Officer (OCMO), which are charged by the Navy Surgeon General to promote safe, quality healthcare, operational readiness, force development, Sailor and Marine deployability, and delivery of the future Naval Medical Force. Supported programs include OCMO; Quality, Safety, and Leadership Academy (QSLA); Women's Health; Trauma Strategy; Emergency Medical Services; Dental Services; Pharmacy Services; Navy Medicine Operational Clinical Communities; and Medical Research and Development. This is a hybrid position with approximately 10% on-site and 90% remote, with on-site support at BUMED, Falls Church, VA. Work hours may require flexibility to support Navy Medicine stakeholders across multiple time zones. Travel is 25% or less, and some positions may require CONUS or OCONUS travel. A Secret clearance is required in accordance with the contract. This opportunity is contingent upon award.

Requirements

  • 5–12 years of project management experience.
  • Demonstrated responsibility for technical, financial, schedule, quality, and stakeholder aspects of projects.
  • Strong project planning, organization, risk management, writing, and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and project-management/scheduling tools.
  • Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5–12 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned COPS projects and workstreams, ensuring technical, financial, schedule, and quality objectives are achieved.
  • Organize and coordinate project planning, implementation, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and delivery.
  • Develop schedules, POA&Ms, risk/issue logs, action trackers, meeting materials, executive briefs, and status reports.
  • Manage modernization, training, conference, site-visit, strategic-plan, and outreach activities as assigned.
  • Coordinate cross-functional BUMED, Fleet, MTF, DHA, and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor deliverable quality and schedule performance, identify risks early, and implement mitigation actions.
  • Ensure project products are accurate, professional, leadership-ready, and delivered in accordance with COPS performance standards.
