About The Position

Tria Federal is seeking a Project Analyst II to provide administrative and operational support services for their federal customer at the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) in Falls Church, Virginia. This role will be part of a team supporting healthcare operations, program management, analysis, research, education programs, correspondence/task management, and military healthcare related policies and programs. The position will support BUMED Clinical Operations, Policy and Standards and the Office of the Chief Medical Officer (OCMO), contributing to safe, quality healthcare, operational readiness, force development, Sailor and Marine deployability, and the future Naval Medical Force. Supported programs include OCMO; Quality, Safety, and Leadership Academy (QSLA); Women's Health; Trauma Strategy; Emergency Medical Services; Dental Services; Pharmacy Services; Navy Medicine Operational Clinical Communities; and Medical Research and Development. This is a hybrid position with approximately 10% on-site work in Falls Church, VA, and 90% remote work. Work hours may require flexibility to support stakeholders across multiple time zones. Travel is 25% or less, potentially including CONUS or OCONUS. A Secret clearance is required. This opportunity is contingent upon award.

Requirements

  • 5–12 years of project/program analysis, healthcare operations, project coordination, or related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage workstreams independently and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with action/risk tracking, schedules, project reporting, process analysis, and executive communications.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5–12 years relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience with project-scheduling or process-mapping applications preferred.
  • Navy Medicine/DHA healthcare programs, clinical readiness, HRO/process improvement, training programs, site visits, conferences, analytics, and executive-level support.
  • Military health environment, an understanding of the military organization, understanding of military health data.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Excellent skills in multitasking, prioritization and planning, schedule management, and the coordination of complex executive functions.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Possess strong editorial and writing skills and a keen understanding of different audiences.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Independently support clinical, operational, modernization, training, analytics, and stakeholder-engagement workstreams.
  • Develop and maintain POA&Ms, project schedules, risks/issues, decision logs, task trackers, and performance reports.
  • Coordinate meetings, site visits, conferences, workshops, training events, and follow-up actions.
  • Support current-state/gap analyses, needs assessments, process-improvement initiatives, data calls, dashboards, and outcome reporting.
  • Develop executive briefs, reports, presentations, meeting materials, and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate activities across BUMED, DHA, Fleet/FMF, MTF, and other Navy Medicine stakeholders.
  • Monitor project execution and proactively identify risks, dependencies, and schedule impacts.
