About The Position

Tria Federal is seeking a Project Manager III to enhance administrative and operational support services for their federal customer at the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) in Falls Church, Virginia. This position will join a team of administrative professionals supporting healthcare operations, program management, analysis, research, education programs, correspondence/task management, and military healthcare related policies and programs. The successful candidate will support BUMED Clinical Operations, Policy and Standards and the Office of the Chief Medical Officer (OCMO), which are charged by the Navy Surgeon General to promote safe, quality healthcare, operational readiness, force development, Sailor and Marine deployability, and delivery of the future Naval Medical Force. Supported programs include OCMO; Quality, Safety, and Leadership Academy (QSLA); Women's Health; Trauma Strategy; Emergency Medical Services; Dental Services; Pharmacy Services; Navy Medicine Operational Clinical Communities; and Medical Research and Development.

Requirements

  • Secret Clearance.
  • Master's degree required.
  • 12+ years relevant experience.
  • 12+ years of project/program management experience involving complex healthcare, military, federal, or enterprise programs.
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing complex, cross-organizational initiatives.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and advising senior executives.
  • Strong financial, schedule, risk, quality, stakeholder, and communications management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, enterprise-level COPS projects spanning multiple clinical, scientific, operational, or policy organizations.
  • Manage project scope, technical execution, financial performance, schedules, risks, quality, resources, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Coordinate strategic modernization initiatives, training programs, governance forums, clinical-community initiatives, conferences, site visits, and outreach efforts.
  • Develop senior-level strategies, implementation plans, POA&Ms, risk mitigation plans, executive reports, and recommendations.
  • Facilitate collaboration among BUMED senior leaders, Navy Medicine clinical communities, Fleet/FMF stakeholders, DHA, MTFs, and external partners.
  • Lead project teams and mentor junior project managers/analysts.
  • Provide senior-level consultation on complex operational issues and ensure work remains aligned with Navy Medicine readiness, HRO, quality, and safety priorities.
