About The Position

Lead and manage all phases of project estimation and execution to ensure timely completion within budgetary constraints. Establish project timelines, track progress, and generate detailed reports for senior leadership to communicate project status and performance metrics. Prepare estimates and bids for fabricated reinforcing bars, mesh accessories, and related products, while maintaining customer and team communication throughout the project life cycle.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD (2010 or higher), MicroStation, ASA Rebar, iSqFt, blueprint reading, and Microsoft suite programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey information clearly and respectfully to customers and coworkers.
• Working knowledge of estimating and reasoning ability to solve practical problems involving a variety of variables.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates of quantities for fabricated reinforcing bars, mesh accessories, and related products required for bid projects.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members throughout all phases of the project life cycle.
• Prepare material bids and oversee the quoting process so assigned customer accounts receive timely, accurate proposals.
• Maintain an up-to-date bid calendar and tracking spreadsheet for estimates, bids, and upcoming project opportunities.
• Use Dodge reports to monitor and capture future construction leads.
• Measure and track project performance to analyze progress toward short- and long-term goals.
• Manage risks to minimize project risks and meet budgetary objectives, adjusting plans based on financial analysis.
• Establish project timelines, track progress, and report project status and performance metrics to senior leadership.
