Estimator/Project Manager
About The Position
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and highly organized Estimator / Project Manager to lead projects from concept through execution. The role combines accurate estimating, cross-functional coordination, and end-to-end project delivery for trade shows, exhibits, and event-related initiatives. The position is full-time and salary exempt, and is based in Maumee, Ohio. The Estimator / Project Manager develops estimates and proposals, aligns scope and budgets with design and account teams, and manages projects through completion. The role coordinates with engineering, production, and show-site teams; oversees production and fabricated items; and maintains schedules, budgets, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, trade shows, or exhibit production.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop accurate cost estimates and proposals across custom fabrication, trade shows, events, and multimedia services.
- Partner with design and account teams to align scope, budget, and timelines.
- Source vendor pricing and define materials, labor, and production requirements.
- Ensure estimates clearly outline timelines, exclusions, and deliverables.
- Lead projects from kickoff through completion, on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and show-site teams.
- Review and approve CAD drawings for design accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Oversee production processes and fabricated items in collaboration with shop leads and the Director of Production.
- Monitor schedules, budgets, and work orders to maintain quality standards.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in project meetings and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Support event logistics and production planning.
- Maintain accurate timelines, documentation, and reporting tools.
