Project Manager - Electrical Distribution
About The Position
We are looking for a Project Manager – Electrical Distribution to support customer-focused distribution projects. This is a hybrid Designer/Project Manager role, where you will manage projects from initial intake through design, coordination, and completion. You will report to the Design Supervisor/Distribution Manager and work with a team of designers and partners across engineering, operations, and construction. We offer a unique opportunity to combine technical design work with project management responsibilities while collaborating across engineering, operations, and construction teams.
Requirements
- Associate degree (required)
- 0–3 years of experience in electrical, construction, GIS, or project management
- 0-3 years of experience with electrical distribution or utility systems
Responsibilities
- Manage distribution projects within an assigned territory from initiation through completion
- Perform electrical distribution design work using GIS-based systems
- Support residential and commercial service applications
- Coordinate with our teams including engineering, operations, scheduling, and construction
- Communicate with external customers, contractors, and electricians
- Maintain project documentation including scope, schedule, and updates
- Conduct site visits and field inspections (~30% of role)
- Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and compliance standards
