About The Position

Applied Materials is seeking a Spring 2027 Project Manager Co-op in Billerica, Massachusetts. The co-op supports project and program objectives by helping complete preliminary activities such as defining outcomes and milestones, assessing viability, and planning resources. The role supports assigned projects and programs to meet established requirements, including product and process specifications, costs, resource utilization, and completion timelines. The co-op helps document all phases of project, program, and process development and ensures relevant information is reported, disseminated, or transferred to other functional areas. The role also supports compliance with company policies covering engineering and laboratory notebooks, patents, confidentiality, and safety; studies new technologies as appropriate; and collects data on materials and financial resources. The position is on-site at the Billerica, MA location from January 11, 2027 through July 2, 2027. Compensation is $31–$41 per hour. Relocation is listed as eligible. The position may involve extended standing, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, distinguishing colors, working around noise, and using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Support assigned project and program objectives and preliminary activities, including determining outcomes and milestones, viability studies, and resource planning.
Support completion of assigned projects and programs according to requirements for product and process specifications, costs, resource utilization, and timeliness.
Document project, program, and process development phases and ensure relevant information is reported, disseminated, or transferred to other functional areas.
Support compliance with company policies concerning engineering and laboratory notebooks, patents, confidentiality, and safety.
Study new technologies as appropriate.
Support data collection for materials and financial resources.
