About The Position

Applied Materials is seeking a Spring Project Manager Co-op to support project and program objectives and help ensure assigned work is completed according to requirements for specifications, cost, resource utilization, and schedule. The position supports preliminary project activities, documentation and information sharing across functional areas, compliance with company policies, technology studies, and collection of materials and financial resource data. The co-op runs from January 11, 2027, through July 2, 2027, and is performed on-site in Billerica, Massachusetts.

Requirements

The position may require standing for extended periods, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, and lifting.
The position may require distinguishing between colors, working in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with noise sensitivity, and using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Support project and program objectives in assigned areas and help complete preliminary activities, including determining outcomes and milestones, viability studies, and resource planning.
Support completion of assigned projects and programs in accordance with requirements for product and process specifications, costs, resource utilization, and timeliness.
Ensure project, program, and process development phases are documented and that information needed by other functional areas is reported, disseminated, or transferred as appropriate.
Ensure compliance with company policies regarding Engineering/Lab notebooks, patents, confidentiality, and safety.
Undertake studies of new technologies, as appropriate.
Support data collection for materials and financial resources.
