Your Mission: The Project Management Intern supports Project Managers and the Program Management Office (PMO) in coordinating and executing manufacturing-related projects. This role bridges project planning and shop floor execution, helping ensure projects stay organized, on schedule, and aligned with business objectives. The intern will gain hands-on experience in project coordination, data tracking, and process improvement while contributing to initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proficient knowledge in SmartSheet is required
  • Basic understanding of project management principles (scheduling, tracking, risk management)
  • Familiarity with project tools such as Microsoft Project (preferred)
  • Exposure to data analysis, reporting, or dashboard tools is a plus
  • Interest in manufacturing, operations, or process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, or ISO is a plus)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, tracking, and documentation
  • Maintain action item logs, schedules, and milestone updates
  • Track project metrics and help prepare status reports and dashboards (e.g., using SmartSheet, Microsoft Project or OnePager)
  • Coordinate meetings, capture notes, and follow up on action items
  • Support manufacturing initiatives by identifying process improvements and inefficiencies
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders
  • All other related duties as assigned
