Pratt and Whitney Hot Section Engineering (HSE) team is looking for a highly motivated individual that is currently pursuing a degree in engineering to join its team as a summer intern to support our Hot Section Engineering (HSE) Geared Turbo Fan (GTF) team.

Requirements

Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship session.
Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship session.
Experience using project management tools such as MS project, Smartsheets, Jira, Confluence or equivalent.
Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Nice To Haves

Experience utilizing communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships
Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.

Responsibilities

Assist Integrated Product Team (IPT) by supporting field investigations, development hardware management, validation testing, and production delivery.
Participate in project management of engineering tasks by creating schedules and tracking progress.
Develop review packages in support of engineering changes.
Assist in creation of risk management plans.
Participate within a team of individuals to meet requirements and achieve program goals
