Requirements

Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
Experience using LEAN/5s.
Experience with Solidworks.
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Nice To Haves

Experience using Epicor.
Experience with Heat Treating/Brazing.
Experience with CNC Machinery.

Responsibilities

Work closely with experienced engineers to explore manufacturing engineering solutions.
Participate in special projects that could involve cost reduction, special processes and machining processes activities.
Collaborate with a capability and manufacturability analysis.
Collaborate on cost estimates in preparation of new product proposals.
Collaborate on the introduction of new technologies and process equipment to the manufacturing site, including machine programming and the development of new process documentation.
