Discover opportunities to make a difference at RTX. What You Will Do: Support the build, integration, and test of complex RF hybrid components and subassemblies. Analyze RF test data looking for trends and yield drivers. Participate in cross-functional team to develop and execute novel projects to improve test yield and performance. What You Will Learn Hands on experience with integration, test, and troubleshoot of complex RF hybrid components and subassemblies. RF data capture, analysis, and presentation. Exposure to microwave automated factory processing capabilities.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
  • Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • ABET is the preferred, although not required accreditation standard.
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
  • Experience in passive circuit design and EM modeling.
  • Experience in radio frequency measurement techniques using power sensors, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
  • Solid understanding of radio frequency principles including phased array theory.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform structured design processes, root-cause problem solving, and successful on-time / on-schedule task
