Project Engineer

The Project Engineer will be responsible for supporting all aspects critical to Pre-Construction of utility scale Solar PV Plans from mid-stage development through notice-to-proceed (NTP). This includes coordinating and managing the technical evaluation and diligence of PV Plants, developing the project's technical scope and optimization, performing due diligence on solar project requirements, coordinating with engineering and procurement teams, and supporting construction cost estimating. The position will also involve briefing management on project progress, issues, and risk mitigation, and interfacing with the broader EPCm team and 3rd party consultants. Some travel may be required.

- Provide technical evaluation, due diligence, and support of solar and energy storage projects during the development/pre-construction phase. - Coordinate with the development team to understand project specifications and requirements. - Review preliminary design and construction documents for completeness and compliance with agreements and permits. - Support the development of cost estimates for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) activities. - Manage preliminary engineering and contractor selection phase. - Review and approve bid package components and decisions. - Ensure quality of RFP bid package and data room. - Evaluate and prepare EPC bid tab comparison. - Manage the turnover process from preconstruction to project delivery/construction execution team. - Support Field Operations and C.
