About The Position

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Project Cost Administrator to join our amazing culture for the Vertical Market team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating invoicing requirements, collection requirements and collections on invoicing. Working closely with stakeholders to identify any concerns with respect to aged AR. As a Project Cost Administrator, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills and ability to deal with a wide cross section of people both internal and external to the business.
  • Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills.
  • Solid financial analytical skills including cost control and ability to interpret financial reports.
  • Solid accounts receivable/collections knowledge.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and results focused.
  • Solid team orientation.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and direction in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong organizational/time management skills.
  • Strong proficiency in financial software including ability to track invoices, run reports, data entry, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years Accounts Receivable/Collections environment
  • 3 years in a construction environment

Responsibilities

  • Create Invoices in Financial System
  • Entering and tracking invoices in various customer portals.
  • Following up on payments due via email or phone.
  • Maintaining detailed tracking sheets of invoice progress, aging, and customer updates.
  • Provide updates to billing team regarding customer invoice requirements to ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Reviews invoices for accuracy and correct GL codes/PO requirements.
  • Assists manager in creating monthly reports.
  • Runs month end financial reports and works with manager to achieve planned financial results.
  • Acts as “our customer’s best service provider” always, thereby ensuring Convergint is the customer’s 1st choice for service
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required
