About The Position

The Alberta Diabetes Institute (ADI) is a leading research institute based at the University of Alberta dedicated to advancing the understanding, prevention, treatment, and management of diabetes. The ADI brings together a multidisciplinary team of researchers, clinicians, and educators to address the complex challenges associated with diabetes through innovative research and comprehensive clinical care. The Project Coordinator will coordinate the operational execution of a medical education initiative funded by Breakthrough T1D. The project goal is to develop a Curriculum and eLearning Course for Clinicians Delivering Cell Therapies for People with Type 1 Diabetes. This role bridges the gap between clinical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), instructional designers at the UofA Learning Design Studio, and international stakeholders. The project coordinator will work closely with the research associate/curriculum designer, the principal investigator and the co-investigator of this grant. The successful candidate will ensure the curriculum is developed on schedule, within budget, and meets the high pedagogical standards required for global clinical accreditation.
