About The Position

BASIS DC is seeking qualified candidates for a Curriculum Coordinator for the 2026/27 school year! The Curriculum Coordinator provides support services to the school's faculty and staff in order to meet the mission of BASIS Ed Schools. In this role, the Curriculum Coordinator is primarily responsible for managing all systems related to student schedules, teacher substitutes and assessment administration. Requirements

A valid fingerprint clearance and/or satisfactory applicable state background check
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
A high level of personal responsibility and optimism
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, achievement-oriented learning environment
Must comply with the COVID-19 vaccination and mitigation requirements for individuals working in public charter schools pursuant to Mayor’s Order 2021-109, including being vaccinated against COVID-19 or obtaining a medical or religious exemption prior to their start date.

Nice To Haves

A Bachelor's degree or minimum of 3 years teaching or administrative experience.
Experience with children.

Responsibilities

Creating and maintaining student schedules
Managing records of teacher substitutions and teacher activities (e.g. field trips, term projects)
Coordinating BASIS Ed curriculum and assessment processes
Coordinating assessment administration of external exams
