About The Position

The Nest School is a new, innovative early childhood education program focused on fostering wellness, resilience, and creativity. We are seeking dynamic, energetic, and joyful leaders to join our team as Education Coordinators. This role involves delivering a proprietary curriculum in special classes, serving as a role model for children and staff, and ensuring program quality. The Education Coordinator will be a member of the management team, responsible for training teachers in effective teaching styles, transitions, and communication. Additionally, they will assist the school's leadership team with daily administrative tasks, including opening and closing procedures, tours, answering phones, classroom coverage, and monthly supply purchasing and organization. A successful candidate will have teaching experience, be able to energetically model and participate in athletic activities, deep stretches, active songs, and dance routines, and possess outgoing leadership qualities with a desire to spread joy. Candidates must meet all state and Nest School requirements for working with children.

Requirements

  • Experience in teaching.
  • Ability to energetically model and participate in athletic activities, deep stretches, active songs, and free and silly dance routines.
  • Outgoing leader with a true desire to spread joy and fun to staff and kids alike.
  • Must meet all state and Nest School requirements, clearing them to work with children in the childcare setting.
  • 3 years of Teaching/Childcare experience.
  • Current CDA Certificate, OR Associates or bachelor’s in education, OR Degree in unrelated field with current CDA certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver proprietary curriculum in special classes to each classroom.
  • Serve as a role model for children and staff.
  • Ensure quality throughout programs.
  • Act as an additional level of support to teachers, children, and families.
  • Train teachers in effective teaching styles, transitions, and communication techniques.
  • Assist with daily administrative tasks such as opening and closing procedures, touring, answering phones, classroom coverage, and monthly purchasing and organizing of curriculum supplies.
