About The Position

The Nest School is a new, innovative early childhood education program focused on fostering wellness, resilience, and creativity. We are seeking dynamic, energetic, and joyful leaders to join our team as Education Coordinators. This role involves delivering a proprietary curriculum in special classes to each classroom, focusing on health and wellness, arts and music, and life skills. Education Coordinators will act as role models for children and staff, ensuring program quality and providing support to teachers, children, and families. This position is part of the management team and will involve training teachers in effective teaching styles, transitions, and communication. Additionally, responsibilities include daily administrative tasks such as opening/closing procedures, touring, answering phones, classroom coverage, and monthly purchasing and organizing of curriculum supplies. A successful candidate will have teaching experience, be able to energetically model athletic activities, deep stretches, active songs, and dance routines, and be an outgoing leader eager to spread joy. Candidates must meet all state and Nest School requirements for working with children.

Requirements

  • Experience in teaching.
  • Must meet all state and Nest School requirements for working with children.
  • Teaching/Childcare: 3 years (Required)
  • Current CDA Certificate, OR Associates or bachelor’s in education, OR Degree in unrelated field with current CDA certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver proprietary curriculum in special classes to each classroom, focusing on health and wellness, arts and music, and life skills.
  • Serve as a role model for children and staff, ensuring quality throughout the programs.
  • Act as an additional level of support to teachers, children, and families.
  • Train teachers in effective teaching styles, transitions, and communication techniques.
  • Assist the school’s leadership team in daily administrative tasks, including opening and closing procedures, touring, answering phones, classroom coverage, and monthly purchasing and organizing of curriculum supplies.
  • Energetically model and participate in athletic activities, deep stretches, active songs, and free and silly dance routines.
