About The Position

The Project Coordinator assists Project Managers (PM) and Technical Support Managers (TSM) in the planning and coordination of projects, takes on administrative duties, and independently manages some project elements. This role ensures that cost, schedule, document control, and quality standards are met.

Requirements

  • Associate Business Degree/Technical Degree
  • 2-4 years' experience in the field of construction, wastewater engineering, or related field.
  • Familiarity with ERP and project management software tools.
  • Experience in working with multiple discipline projects.
  • Excellent computer skills in all Microsoft Office Suite applications and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Fluent spoken and written English required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Customer service and strong phone skills are distinct advantages.

Nice To Haves

  • Huber equipment knowledge a plus
  • German or Spanish ability a plus

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with stakeholders regarding project needs and goals.
  • Contributing to the planning and development of projects.
  • Supporting the coordination and management of projects.
  • Supporting all project handover meetings by taking minutes and distributing to stakeholders.
  • Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, updating company ERP systems, and preparing purchase orders for equipment.
  • Tracking all purchase orders (POs) and ensuring order confirmation, and following up with suppliers who have yet to confirm receipt.
  • Keeping track of and reporting on project progress, including outstanding submittal information from vendors, approvals from engineers/contractors, OC dates for vendors, and proof of delivery for components.
  • Communicating the project schedule with all stakeholders and monitoring project progress for critical path items.
  • Completing any tasks assigned by the PM or TSM in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Providing regular project status reports to the Director of Project Management and Accounting.
  • Compiling technical submittals, test reports, engineering drawings, and O&M information.
