About The Position

American Millworks is a growing millwork and cabinetry company specializing in commercial and high-end residential projects. We take pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship and seamless project execution for our clients. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator with a background in construction to support our project management team. This role is critical in ensuring projects stay organized, on schedule, and fully coordinated from start to finish.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in construction, millwork, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and project flow
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with submittals, scheduling, and material procurement preferred
  • Project management software is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage project submittals, shop drawings, and approvals
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules
  • Support material procurement, tracking, and vendor coordination
  • Communicate with project managers, field teams, vendors, and clients
  • Track project progress and help identify potential delays or issues
  • Maintain organized project documentation and records
  • Assist with project closeout documentation
