About The Position

Build the Future with Us - Join a growing project delivery team as a Project Coordinator and play a key role in supporting the successful execution of multidisciplinary environmental, infrastructure, and consulting projects across British Columbia. Working alongside Project Managers, technical specialists, and operational teams, you will help coordinate project activities, monitor financial performance, support field programs, and contribute to delivering exceptional outcomes for clients and communities. This position is based in Vancouver but may also be based out of other WSP offices across British Columbia and offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Business, Accounting, Project Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 3–5 years of project coordination, project controls, administration, consulting, or related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting project financial management, including budgeting, invoicing, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, SharePoint, Project, and Adobe Acrobat; Oracle experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
  • Commitment to health, safety, quality, and continuous learning, with a proactive approach to problem solving and stakeholder engagement.

Nice To Haves

  • Working toward or possessing a PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management designation is considered an asset.
  • Experience working within consulting, engineering, environmental, construction, or professional services environments is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities, schedules, and deliverables to support successful project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor project budgets, invoicing, work-in-progress, and financial performance while identifying risks and supporting corrective actions.
  • Support Project Managers with proposals, change orders, project plans, progress reporting, and project closeout activities.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, technical specialists, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain alignment and project momentum.
  • Coordinate environmental and field program logistics, including travel, accommodations, training requirements, site access, equipment tracking, and field support.
  • Maintain project documentation, SharePoint sites, records, and quality management processes to support compliance and project governance.
  • Track project scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables while proactively identifying and resolving coordination challenges.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement while developing your project management expertise and career potential.
