This role is responsible for creating value propositioning and driving solutions and pricing for complex project transportation moves, including Rail & Barge operations, in addition to standard Ocean, Air, and Domestic Transportation moves. The Project Coordinator will conduct analytics on project performance, freight spend, and KPIs, and is responsible for the administration of the project, including KPI reporting, invoicing, and progress against contractual milestones. They will track shipment progress in conjunction with the project logistics plan, keeping relevant parties informed, and coordinate with identified project suppliers. The role requires experience with H/L (Heavy Lift) and ODC (Out of Gauge) cargo handling, knowledge of HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, Quality), and an understanding of Industrial Project dynamics. The Project Coordinator will collaborate with stations and clients to build strong relationships and provide continuous updates on project timelines, explaining shipment options to senior leadership. Administrative and documentation functions include shipment coordination, acting as a central control hub, document preparation, data maintenance, report preparation, and communication with clients and subcontracted partners regarding freight disposition, tracking, tracing, routing, and rate quotations. The role also involves rating and billing duties, including specific operations invoicing.
