About The Position

Working within the Project Management team, the coordinator is responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of assigned projects. This proactive, cross-functional role serves as a coordinator that bridges the gap between different departments. The ideal candidate actively steps into the trenches to resolve bottlenecks, accelerate timelines, and align production, planning, procurement, and engineering to guarantee project deliverables are met on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience is required
  • Capable with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Competence in general computer skills and the use of common business software, to include: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
  • Data management skills
  • Customer relations management
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Negotiation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be accepted
  • Experience with MS Project preferable

Responsibilities

  • Actively monitor project milestones and fluidly deploy across internal departments to resolve execution delays.
  • If product manufacturing falls behind schedule, embed with the production team to identify bottlenecks, reallocate focus, and assist in getting timelines back on track.
  • Collaborate closely with Planning and Expediters to ensure material requirements are met. If parts have not been filled, proactively work to pull, organize, and ready parts for immediate production deployment.
  • Partner with the Procurement team to monitor supplier timelines. When vendors fall behind, actively intervene by auditing lead times, and driving accountability to secure critical project updates and deliveries.
  • Coordinate project activities with a strict focus on schedule, budget, and proactive risk mitigation. Lead or participate in Contractor meetings to give and receive feedback.
  • Manage critical project documentation, ensuring submittals, file validation, and document control meet exact formatting and compliance requirements for error-free, punctual delivery.
  • Assists with implementation and tracking of project budgets and schedules.
  • Other duties as assigned
