Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education or experience.
  • Four years of related experience in project coordination/administration.
  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Public Administration, Higher Education Administration, Planning, Facilities Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in higher education administration, facilities planning, project management, institutional research, or operations management.
  • Experience with space inventory systems, scheduling systems, GIS, facilities databases, reporting tools, or business intelligence platforms.
  • Experience interacting with and supporting committees, governance groups, or executive leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates project activities including project initiation, document sharing, work plan development, estimating, and project controls.
  • Coordinates with vendors and others in the delivery and support for systems and services.
  • Coordinates multiple work streams to ensure cross-project dependencies and impacts are identified and managed.
  • Research, benchmark and tracks databases for assigned projects
  • Writes reports and other related materials.
  • Prepares presentations and meeting agendas.
  • Host prospective executives including visit communication, travel and follow up.
  • Arranges stakeholder interactions across campus.
  • Assist leading up to and at events involving the division including but not limited to commencement, groundbreakings, building openings, etc.
